We believe in telling you plainly how we operate. Here are the disclosures that matter.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on Sparrowkeep are affiliate links. In accordance with the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 255): if you click a link on our site to a partner service — such as Trust & Will for online will preparation, or partners we may add for identity protection or cremation/funeral pre-planning — and you sign up or make a purchase, Sparrowkeep may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra.

A few things we want to be clear about:

• We only link to services we genuinely think may be useful to people organizing their family's affairs. But a commission is still a financial incentive, and you deserve to know it exists.
• Our recommendations are general, not personalized advice. We don't know your situation. Whether a will service, identity-protection plan, or pre-planning service is right for you is a decision for you, ideally with advice from a qualified professional.
• Free or lower-cost alternatives often exist. For example, many states offer free statutory will forms, legal-aid organizations serve those who qualify, some employers offer legal benefits that include estate documents, and you can freeze your credit with the three bureaus yourself at no cost instead of paying for monitoring. We encourage you to compare options.

The chat assistant on Sparrowkeep is artificial intelligence, not a human being, and is labeled as AI in the chat window. Please keep in mind:

• It can make mistakes. It may occasionally give incomplete or incorrect answers. Verify anything important before acting on it.
• It does not give legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and nothing it says should be treated as advice from a professional.
• If you ask for a callback and provide a phone number, we store that number to call you back — a human handles callbacks.
• Chat conversations are processed by our third-party AI service provider to generate responses, and transcripts may be reviewed by our team to improve support quality. Please don't type sensitive personal details (account numbers, Social Security numbers, health details) into the chat. See our Privacy Policy for how chat data is handled.
